Lakewood Cottages - Coronavirus (Covid-19) guidance for guests

Due to the deteriorating situation associated with the coronavirus outbreak, and the government guidelines concerning social distancing along with avoiding un-necessary travel. We have taken the difficult decision to close our doors at Lakewood Cottages for the time being. We know that this will be disappointing to many  that have holidays booked with us, but feel it is needed to help stop the spread of the virus around the country, and so as not to put our guests at any un-necessary risk.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but feel in the present circumstances it is the right decision to take. We are disappointed not to be seeing all our guests that had booked for the next few months, but we will be opening for business again just as soon as the situation allows.

For all of our guests that have holidays booked with us in the next few months, and have paid their deposits. We will contact them individually when their balance payments become due. We will not be requiring payment of their balances, but rather offer to roll their deposits over to another holiday at a later date, any time within the next twelve months from the start date of their original holiday.

If any of our customers have any worries or questions about this please contact us. We will be pleased to answer questions and help in any way we can.

In the meantime as a family we hope you all keep safe and well, and look forward to seeing you at some point in the future when the situation improves.

With our best wishes

Alec, Christine & Family
